The Group

History

La Redención Sofro Group has its origins in “La Redención”, founded in 1884, one of the oldest crop-livestock farms in Córdoba province.
In 1970, Marcos Rodrigué takes charge of the family farm and starts a transformation process that turns the farm into an agricultural and livestock business.

At the beginning of the 80’s, Rogelio Fogante, a pioneer of no-till farming in the country and founder of AAPRESID, joins the business. This way of working starts to be applied in all the productive areas, and the first steps towards biotechnology are taken.

“La Redención Sofro” Group starts a stage of production and management of third parties’ farms, with the permanent incorporation of technology, research and development. At present, the Group is renowned as one of the leading companies in the Argentinean agricultural and livestock sector.
